More than two dozen top executives from the Middle East logistics industry will present case studies and take part in panel discussions at Leaders in Logistics 2016.

ITP Publishing’s Leaders in Logistics annual conference returns in November and is due to take place at Grosvenor House, Dubai Marina on Tuesday 8th November.

Conference chairman Michael Stockdale, Chief Executive Officer, B2C Logistics will present an overview of the industry looking at the renewed focus on economic diversification from the GCC states due to low oil prices continuing to pose a challenge across the region.A stable and efficient supply chain is critical in making this drive successful. Using superior planning techniques and project management, the GCC countries are integrating supply chain linkages as new logistics infrastructure is coming on stream, giving rise to highly efficient inter-modal bases that are reducing delivery time and cost.

The logistics infrastructure development, and integration of the transportation and logistics service in the GCC is providing opportunities to the local LSPs in the UAE. This session aims to provide an overview of the current regional logistics and supply chain sector, analyse recent developments within the industry and their impact on the drive towards economic diversification within the GCC.
