Dubai-based Business Systems Group (BSG) has inked an exclusive distributor agreement with Trackon Telematics, one of India’s leading fleet management and tracking services providers. BSG now becomes the sole vendor and supporter of Trackon’s entire portfolio of products throughout the Middle East region.

The Indian firm provides solutions for long- and short-haul freight cariers, as well as retail management chains, construction firms and tanker operators. Its products offer unique abilities to provide telematic information about temperatures, working hours, engine operations, vehicle location, speeds and various other types of machine-to-machine solutions integrated with the Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) and the Trackon FMS.

“With our experience in the region, our customer’s fleet operations have faced situations like drivers misreporting their locations, breakdowns, vehicle misuse, absence of data for insurance claims in case of accidents, emergency response, vehicle or cargo theft, unsafe or high consumption driving, speeding and other issues”, said Mohideen Shaikh, business development manager at BSG.

“Trackon’s FMS is a cost-effective and secure solution to almost all the problems and issues faced by fleet managers. Moreover, the solution is tightly integrated with Exactus Aware Transport Management System (TMS) that helps efficiently manage the entire transportation execution lifecycle,” Shaikh added.

Some large organisations, such as Nikai Electronics and Al Madina Logistics, are already users of Trackon systems in the Middle East, and have been able to increase efficiency and productivity, lower transportation costs,  and ultimately serve their customers better by improving delivery accuracy, response time and on-time deliveries. BSG hopes that this deal will enable many other local companies to leverage the same benefits.
