Emirates SkyCargo returned to winning ways by taking its second Cargo Operator of the Year (Commercial Airline) trophy.
“No matter how many awards you win, they are always a great motivator for us to do even better for the industry. As a result, this recognition is very much appreciated,” said Ram Menen, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president cargo, after collecting his award.
Menen pointed to the impressive network of wide-bodied capacity that SkyCargo has built up over the years as a reason for the carrier’s success, and also lauded the operational excellence of Dubai’s Cargo Mega Terminal (CMT), which has now been in operation for just over a year.
“We’re now running the CMT at around 99.7% reliability, which has truly helped to bring a strong platform of service excellence to Emirates SkyCargo,” the executive added.
