Representatives from the University of Liverpool will visit Saudi Arabia later on this month to discuss its online Masters programme in Operations and Supply Chain Management.
Devised by one of the UK’s leading specialist research groups, the degree enables students to analyse the latest developments in operations and supply chain practise across a variety of sectors, enabling them to become future strategists.
Two information sessions, held on 13th June in Jeddah and on 16th June in Riyadh, will provide more information about the flexibility of working online, the support the university offers, and the practical applications of its online programmes.
“Our fully online degrees have the same unwavering academic standards as the on-campus programme. Although the classroom is asynchronous giving the students the flexibility to study at their convenience, there are structured deadlines to be met and projects or assignments to be submitted regularly,” said Leon James, vice president marketing for Laureate Online Education, who was speaking to arabiansupplychain.com.
“The online classroom is not about studying in isolation and without support but involves highly interactive and collaborative learning. The instructors as well as the students are from across the globe and the insights shared and learnt by the discussions and peer-to-peer exchanges are what makes our programme distinctive," James added.
