Majali resigns as Royal Jordanian CEO

Samer Majali, chief executive officer of Royal Jordanian

Samer Majali has resigned from his post as chief executive officer of Royal Jordanian, effective from 1st August 2009, the airline has confirmed.

The executive, who celebrated his third decade at Royal Jordanian this year, was appointed as CEO in 2001, following stints in departments such as passenger services, flight operations and information technology.

Engineer Nasser Lozi, chairman of Royal Jordanian’s Board of Directors, offered his gratitude to Majali and praised “the huge and ongoing efforts that he exerted” to develop the airline’s position in the air transport industry.
