Helmerichs Joerg from Airbus at the Dubai Airport Free Zone Business Awards
Airbus has received a health and safety award for its logistics centre in Dubai Airport Free Zone.
The company’s facility, which stocks a range of spare parts for customers in the aviation industry, received the acknowledgement at Dubai Airport Free Zone’s Business Awards.
“Since Airbus Middle East operation in Dubai Airport Free Zone is young, this contest is a great opportunity to establish our image in this region and to be recognised to set the targets for health and safety improvements,” said Helmerichs Joerg, senior director, material, logistics and suppliers, Airbus Middle East.
“Airbus is proud to having fulfilled the high criteria’s set by Dubai Airport Free Zone for Health & Safety Award. We are honoured to be selected as the very first winner in this category.”
