Iraqi Wings Air Cargo has launched a weekly service from Europe to Baghdad in partnership with Avient.

The cargo operator, which was established in April 2009, will operate the first flight on the new route later this month.

“Avient has been in partnership with Iraqi Wings Air Cargo since its inception and the whole process would not be possible without close co-operation from both parties”, stated Andrew Smith, managing director of Avient.

“We are proud to assist in the reconstruction of Iraq,” he added.
