Davies Turner hailed Tehran International Book project a success
Davies Turner has transported a record volume of cargo for Tehran International Book Fair this year, with 300 tonnes of books and other literature being delivered to the event.
“Last year we were pleased to have reached the milestone of serving the Tehran International Book Fair for the 21st year in succession, especially as we moved 291 tonnes of material by road,” stated Philip Stephenson, joint managing director of Davies Turner.
“This year, we have gone one better and have supported mainly British exhibitors at the event by moving 307 tonnes of books overland, plus several more tonnes of literature by airfreight. This has beaten 2008’s grand total, itself a record, by the equivalent of a whole extra truckload of books," he added.
