DHL has experienced 20% growth in New Zealand over the past two years
DHL has revealed a US$8.8 million investment to support its market growth in New Zealand.
The global logistics company, which has experienced 20% growth in New Zealand over the past two years, is planning to construct a flagship warehouse in close proximity to Auckland International Airport.
The 11,600m2 facility, which is being located in Westney Industry Park, will target companies in the pharmaceutical, industrial and FMCG sectors.
"In this current economic climate, businesses are looking to improve logistics efficiencies and stay competitive," said Amadou Diallo, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding in South Asia Pacific.
“We see tremendous opportunity ahead and these new premises will enhance our productivity by over 10%," he added.
