A domestic flight operated by Saudi Arabian Airlines was unable to complete its journey to Al-Baha last week after the aircraft’s nose gear could not be fully retracted by pilots.

Flight SV-1711 - operated with a McDonnell Douglas MD-90 airplane - was ordered back to its starting point in Dammam around 2 hours after departure, after it had burned off fuel.

According to Aviation Herald, 105 passengers were onboard the plane when the incident occurred.
