An aircraft travelling from Egypt with eight crew members has crash-landed in close proximity to Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport, according to a statement from Russia’s federal civil aviation agency.

No passengers were on board the Russian TU-204 Aviastar-TU jet at the time of the incident.

Early reports suggest the aircraft was attempting to land in difficult weather conditions with poor visibility.

No fatalities have been reported, although four of the crew members are in a serious condition.
