A Royal Jordanian flight to Hong Kong was returned to its starting point in Bangkok less than an hour after take-off, when the aircraft’s fuselage was damaged by severe weather conditions.
The incident took place on Saturday 3rd April, with hail being blamed for causing “minor damages” to the plane, according to a report in the Aviation Herald.
However, pilots were able to safely land at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok around 50 minutes after departure, with 131 passengers on board.
The flight was later cancelled and passengers were re-booked onto other flights.

maintenance
Bashir Mohmd, what are you on about?! It seems that you know about maintenance as much as I know about seabed art, a fat zero, that is what you know about MRO

Plane
Sam, i do agree with you.. But they damaged all mine abd my partners luggage and we had absolutely nothing to wear for two days but what we flew in.
Pilits cannot predict bad weather but they do get fed information about current weather conditions constantly and they fly around storm clouds. We are yet to receive any information what so ever on what happenned. They reported that no one was injured. That was just a lie. Good on the pilot for landing that plane thats for sure.

What! If!???
dears; as a traveler, i think the most important is the safety and not the compensation you are talking about.
I don't think an airline could guess that they will face a weather problems.
all we can say thanks GOD for the good results of professional pilots.
GOD bless all.

Bad Maintenance
I think the IATA and FAA should review all maintenance documents nad what have been done on this airplane, I don't trust RJ and their contracted MRO

informations
This is so terrible ..passengers should be informed about what was going on..also apology was required with some componsation provided..like 2 nights free hotel full board..or 50% discount on any flight with this airline .this is the least they can offer.
