Emirates was forced to take action on flight EK776 from Durban to Dubai this week after noticing low oil pressure on the Airbus A330-200.

Pilots had to shut the right-hand engine on the aircraft and return to Durban King Shaka Airport around 35 minutes after the flight’s departure.

According to a report by Aviation Herald, a replacement Airbus A330-200 was dispatched to Durban the following day and reached Dubai on Sunday 13th June with a total delay of 27.5 hours.
