F&E Aerospace, one of the biggest names in the aerospace event industry, has won the Best Exhibition award for the Dubai Airshow at the Middle East Event Awards 2012.
The company were honoured by a panel of judges from across the event industry at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre last Wednesday at a ceremony hosted by comedienne Ruby Wax.
Other nominees in the category were DMG Events for the Big 5 and International Design Exhibition – INDEX, Informa Exhibitions for Arab Health and Flash Entertainment for Abu Dhabi Science Festival.
“We are delighted to win the Best Exhibition award for the Dubai Airshow; whilst are an established event in the region we won this award for our forward thinking and development in order to grow and establish it as one of the world’s leading airshows,” said Alison Weller, managing director of F&E Aerospace.
“We would like to thank all our Dubai Airshow partners - it’s only by working as one team that we can put on such a world-class, strategically important event in Dubai.”
Dubai Airshow 2011 drew 960 exhibitors from 50 countries up by 8% on 2009 and 56,548 visitors which also saw an increase of 7%.
